Professional Development

The Educational Service Center of Lorain County/ Region 2 SST provides high-quality professional development opportunities to educators on scientific research based best practices (NCLBO to improve the academic achievement of children and youth with disabilities and those at risk of being identified as disabled.

Our professional development opportunities include:
• Inservices
• College-credit courses
• Study groups
• Professional Learning Community Network meetings
• Online-credit courses
We also provide opportunities on topics related to the education of children with disabilities for parents and caregivers, as well as Parent Mentor Services.
