Data Reporting:
You may now fill out the required Data Collection Form for your school to use in collecting information and email it to Jim Hartline hartline@esclc.org by August 1, 2013. This data is required from all school districts in Ohio but because we (Region 2….Lorain, Erie & Huron Counties) have a McKinney-Vento Grant, that data gets sent to Jim Hartline (Region 2 Homeless Education Liaison) for compilation rather than to Tom Dannis & Cindy Stickley at ODE. After saving this Data Collection Form to your computer and making the necessary fill-ins, email it as an attachment to Jim Hartline hartline@esclc.org by August 1, 2013. You may also print out a copy for your records. If you cannot email the file, please send it to Attn: Jim Hartline, 12079 Lagrange Road, LaGrange, OH 44050 by August 1, 2013.

2. Tutoring for Homeless Students in Shelters
The Homeless Instructional Support Tutoring Program provides students in shelters and agency programs with tutors to assist with homework, help with school costs of homeless families, facilitate pupil transportation, etc. To determine eligibility for services or further inquiries, contact our Lorain County Homeless Education Liaison identified below.
3. McKinney-Vento Law, Grant Management
& Consulting Services
There are many resources available on this website that people in Region 2 can use to become familiar with the Federal McKinney-Vento Law and how to identify, report and document in order that services may be rendered and EMIS reports be kept accurate.
Please click on the McKinney-Vento tab on the right of this page to access information. ESCLC is in its 15th year of a McKinney-Vento Grant. We are always ready to be a help in answering the questions and concerns of schols, agencies, parents and homeless youth in Lorain, Erie and Huron counties.
