2012 Lorain County Solo & Ensemble Contest
Our Lorain County Solo & Ensemble Contest event took place on Saturday, February 11th at Nord High School in Amherst. Students performed in front of adjudicators with their singing voice or their instrument and received some very helpful feedback from the adjudicators. Even though we had our only snow storm of the season, almost every student attended as planned.
On Wednesday, February 8th, our Virtual Recital event was held at the ESC recording studio. The students “Skyped” with teacher, Sean Schulze, at the Cleveland Institute of Music. They played their piece and then the teacher critiqued it to help them play the piece better.

We encourage all students to try this, it will give them insight on how to make their performance better. It is a great tool for those who want to excel with their music!
