The Gifted Supervisors facilitate opportunities for middle school and high school classes to attend WVIZ 1:00 PM lectures at Playhouse Square in Cleveland. The Town Hall speakers provide the motivation and inspiration needed for students to pursue higher aspirations throughout their educational and working careers. With assistance from the Gifted Supervisors, the classroom teachers prepare the students with interdisciplinary teaching connections to the specific topics being presented. Leadership opportunities are afforded to those students that express an interest in interviewing. The programs are also available through Distance Learning connections to the schools and organizations that contact the Gifted Supervisors and sign up to connect. Evening tickets are also available through a grant provided by the Nord Foundation.
