Target Audiences-Grades K-12
We know that children are more engaged in school when they have a voice in what and how they're learning. Through the inquiry-process, students research authentic questions, investigate real evidence, and share their findings with stakeholders. Learn how to design units around the Ohio standards while still giving students voice and choice with the C3 Framework from the National Council for Social Studies.
Dr. Katie Knapp will teach and model the method, offer example lessons in each grade level, provide unit design templates, and then allow time for teachers to design an upcoming unit for their own classroom.
Event Fee: $100
1 semester hour Grad Credit optional through Ashland University for $175
