This two-day course focuses on the scientific definition of dyslexia and its common characteristics standardized by the International Dyslexia Association and the most effective research-based methodologies. The instructor demonstrates multi-sensory structured language techniques based on the Structured Literacy philosophy in the areas of reading, spelling and writing. This interactive session demonstrates ways to meet the challenges of teaching students with dyslexia with an emphasis on differentiating instruction to assure coverage of essential components for student progress.

Cancellation Policy: By registering to attend an event requiring a registration fee, we must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] two weeks prior to the event date for a full refund.

If you do not cancel before the event or do not attend, you/your district will still be responsible for payment.
