This presentation will focus on the models of co-teaching and how, as an instructional approach, it can help educators meet the diversity of learners in the classroom. Topics covered will be models of co-teaching, how to prepare and plan to implement co-teaching, some of the obstacles to having successful co-teaching teams and strategies co-teaching teams can use to meet the diversity of learners in the classroom. Resources will be provided to help co-teaching teams plan to being the 2015-16 off as a well prepared co-teaching team.

1. To learn the models of co-teaching and how they can be implemented
2. To identify ways that co-teaching teams can meet the diversity of learners in their classroom
3. To create a plan to implement co-teaching in the 2015-2016 school year
