Education is at the core
of a successful Lorain County. As the designated provider of
Region 2 State Support Team services, the Educational
Service Center of Lorain County is committed to providing high
quality services, programs and leadership to our educational
partners. On behalf of the Governing Board, I urge you to look at
the wide array of educational programs and service consortiums
available to support the cost effective delivery of education in
our area.
As an organization, the Educational Service Center serves as a
coordinating hub that collaborates with public school districts,
institutions of higher learning, businesses and other support
organizations to improve the overall quality of educational
opportunities available to residents. Through our many consortiums,
we provide the means for school districts to save monies through
bulk purchasing or to cost effectively provide educational programs
tailored to specific groups and needs.
In an environment of increasing accountability and competition, the
Educational Service Center of Lorain County remains committed to
meeting the challenges of improving student achievement and
providing opportunities for life-long learning and skill
development. Finally, we encourage you to get involved in your
public school district. Ultimately, it is the strength and vision
of each community that drives their level of educational
success.
