2010 Chronicle Telegram Spelling Bee

The Chronicle Telegram Spelling Bee has wheels already in motion for 2010 contest.  Lorain County Schools have been registered and placed into East & West Regions.

West Region Semi-Finals Date:  March 5, 2010, 7pm.

West Region Semi-Finals Location:  Amherst Junior High School, 548 Milan Ave., Amherst, Ohio  44001.

West Region includes the following schools:

Amherst Junior High School
Amherst - St. Joseph School
The Arts Academy
Clearview - Durling Middle School
Firelands - South Amherst Middle School
Lorain - St. Peter School
Midview Middle School
Open Door Christian School
Vermilion - Sailorway Middle School

East Region Semi-Finals Date:  March 12, 2010, 7pm.

East Region Semi-Finals Location:  Sheffield Middle School, 1919 Harris Road, Sheffield Village, Ohio  44054.

East Region Includes the following Schools:

Elyria - Eastern Heights Middle School

Finals will be held March 19, 2010, 7pm, at Midview West Elementary School, 13070 Durkee Road, Grafton, Ohio  44044.

Registrations for each school must be turned in by February 22, to Jim Hartline.For registration form, click HERE.  You must also include digital headshots with your registration information.  The digital headshots must be in jpg format and include students name as file name.Any questions should be directed to Jim Hartline.
