About the Homeless Instructional Support Tutoring Program

The Homeless Instructional Support Tutoring Program provides students in county homeless shelters with tutors to assist with homework, offer supplemental counseling, provide daily transportation to and from school and conduct summer enrichment programming.  Tutors are available on a daily basis to work with students and parents to both support/maintain an ongoing educational effort and to model appropriate efforts that will be needed once the family finds permanent housing.
