On Tuesday, May 12, the Carlisle Fire Department visited the Early Learning Center. First, the students practiced a fire drill and the Firefighters said we did a great job! Then, Chief Dembiec and Firefighter Higgins told us all about the fire truck. We learned a lot of new things and even got to sit in the fire truck.

A Naturalist from the Lorain County Metroparks visited our school on Tuesday, March 31 and talked about dinosaurs. The AM and PM preschool classes helped construct a triceratops in the gym.
Community Playgroup now offered at the ELC
The Early Learning now hosts a weekly playgroup for young children, ages 3-5. Playgroup offers children an opportunity to socialize with age-level peers while exploring and learning. Children participate in story time, music, arts/crafts, play, and snack. It is free to join, but parents should call to register their child since space is limited.
