NORT2H is happy to announce the rollout of its Always Ready Classroom professional development course funded through a grant from the Nordson Foundation. This is a hybrid course with face-to-face/virtual sessions and online learning via Google Classroom totaling 15 hours (4 hours in-person/virtual, 9 hours online learning).

At its core, the Always Ready Classroom centers around the idea that; Good teaching is good teaching no matter if it’s face-to-face, blended learnings, or remote instruction. In this course students will explore components of Douglas Fisher’s Distance Learning Playbook and Weston Kieschnick’s Bold School. We will focus on instruction that includes best practices for Classroom Management, Teacher Clarity, and Strategies and Tools That Work. Emphasis will be placed on identifying high impact, high yield strategies and finding the tools that will elevate those strategies.

Event Fee:  Free for Lorain and Cuyahoga County Educators (Grant funded by the Nordson Foundation)
$50 - other counties

Participants can complete coursework to earn Gifted PD hours.

Presenters:  Dave Miller and Mike Triska, NORT2H

Optional Grad Credit through Ashland University ($195) not covered by grant funds.
