Empowering Mathematics Leadership through Student Centered Practices

Target Audience:  District staff, building leadership, and/or instructional coaches

The goal of this session is to build capacity through district leadership and to explore how the HQIM Selection and Implementation Process can be used as an entry point to expanding access to professional learning for educators on research and evidence based practices.

Participants will learn key math indicators to use when evaluating curriculum, how to develop effective coaching cycles or a progression of professional development opportunities to support student centered practices within the indicators, and work towards developing an exemplar walk-through tool to use for their districts.
As part of the High Quality Instructional Materials in Math Initiative, this session is grant funded and free to district staff, building leadership, and/or instructional coaches.

Participants will also receive a free manipulative kit!

EVENTS WITH NO REGISTRATION FEE:   We must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] at least 24-hours  prior to the event.  If you do not cancel or are a no-show, you/your district will be invoiced a $25 registration fee since our presenters prepare their presentation and may charge an event/planning fee.
