NORT2H, the ESC of Lorain County, and the North Central Ohio ESC are happy to announce the rollout of The Next Level Blended Classroom professional development course funded through a grant from Ohio’s RemotEDx organization.
This is a hybrid course with virtual sessions and online learning via Google Classroom totaling 12 hours (3.5 hours in-person/virtual, 9 hours online learning).
At its core, The Next Level Blended Classroom centers around the idea that; Good teaching is good teaching no matter if it’s face-to-face, blended, or remote instruction. In this course students will explore components of Visible Learning, Douglas Fisher’s Distance Learning Playbook, and Weston Kieschnick’s Bold School. We will focus on instruction that includes best practices for Classroom Management, Teacher Clarity, and Strategies and Tools That Work. Emphasis will be placed on identifying high impact, high yield strategies and finding the tools that will elevate those strategies.
Event Fee: Free
Optional Grad Credit: Ashland University - $195 (not covered by grant funds)
