Project-Based Learning (PBL) - Join us in discovering PBL as a powerful and effective inquiry-based learning framework for K-12 classrooms. Find PBL units for your grade level using PBL resource databases and learn how to tweak/design your own PBL units. PBL 2.0 participants will take their PBL implementation to the next level via personalized programming to meet their 2.0 needs. Each cohort includes 2 full-day sessions at the ESC of Lorain County as well as an optional day of coaching in your district.

9/21/2021 - Full-Day. What is Gold Standard PBL and Why do it? Participants: up to 40 grade K-12 teachers - Featuring Jodi Haney from Xcite Learning.
9/28/2021 - Full-Day. How to FIND existing PBL projects for use in my classroom and how to DESIGN my own PBL project. Special focus on Maker-Space applications. Participants: up to 40 grade K-12 teachers - Featuring Jodi Haney from Xcite Learning.
Optional Coaching Days 10/5/2021 - 10/26/2021
5/25/2022 - Full-Day. PBL Share Out. Teachers return to the ESC to share PBL projects completed at their schools and report on the successes and “do-overs” related to projects.
