Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) Units 1-4 Face to Face Training: A cohort of educators will embark on an in-depth professional development in the Science of Reading to support all learners. This learning supports any curriculum as it is intended to bridge educators' deep understanding of literacy with strategies that are evidence-based to support learning. Units 1 through 4 focus on the “theoretical models from reading science, phonology, basic and advanced phonics; screening and educational diagnostic assessment.”

These Face to Face sessions for each unit will be interactive modeling and support of Unit materials. Participants will complete the online learning according to
the pacing guide provided by the presenter.
