Audience: Art Educators
This lecture will address how to creatively connect with your visual art students in an online environment with little connection to consumable materials. Students develop skills to express difficult concepts and a range of emotions. This approach also allows for the students to be flexible during class time as the lectures are conducted once a week.
The lesson is designed with the assumption that students have access to a cell phone, or an image capture device of some kind. Students will continue arts education through the Elements and Principles of Design, and learn to articulate and manipulate meaningful images tied to emotional concepts that are relevant to the individual student and their circumstances.
