Prevention 101 and CASEL Adult SEL Training

The first half of the day will be Prevention 101 which provides background on the Ohio prevention initiative grants, the needs assessment, and planning process; prevention within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS), the selection of Evidenced-Based Practices (EBP's), and supports, resources, and next steps.  
The second half of the day will be focused on Adult SEL and covers the role of adults in developing SEL competence to create a supportive classroom and school climate.  
Resources also cover how to model social and emotional skills young people can emulate and support for adults to manage their own emotions, stress, and job satisfaction.
