Successful completion of the Ohio BCI and FBI background check and fingerprinting process is a fundamental component of becoming an approved coach at a school district in Ohio. ESC of Lorain County’s 123 at ESC service covers all aspects of the background and fingerprinting process, as well as integrating with the Coaches’Tool Chest, a program that aligns with the Ohio Department of Education’s required Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) for individuals who plan to direct,supervise or coach student athletics or physical activities. Fingerprinting must be scheduled in advance and conducted in person at the ESC of Lorain County.
