It takes time, energy and an unwavering commitment to excellence to build a truly successful sports program—and a great coach is at the center of that process.
But those coaches aren’t developed overnight. It requires years of work to gain the level of expertise that can lead not just to top-level talent, but a program that stands out proudly on a reputation of excellence and integrity.

The ESC of Lorain County is uniquely positioned to provide this new, once-a-year training, to help set coaches on the path to success. The Leadership & Coaching series is an especially valuable opportunity for your school district to help its coaches—newcomers and long-timers—build a powerful understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the extracurricular environment.

The leadership summit will provide participants with instruction and best practices on the following topics:
-Sportsmanship
-Public Relations
-Special Events / Promotions
-Awards Banquets / Public Presentations
-Fundraising / Booster Club Relations
-Team Handbook / Rules / Expectations
-Strategic Plans to Build a Program
