Literacy Curriculum Selection Network

NETWORK DATES:  JAN 26 | FEB 23 | MAR 16
Please register for each date you plan to attend.

Target Audience:  Administrators and literacy teams who are currently going through a literacy curriculum selection for any grade band

This network community will meet to share successes and challenges of the literacy curriculum selection process, which sample curricula are being analyzed, analysis findings, and the pros and cons of the sample curricula already being implemented in other districts.

January 26 Network Agenda:

- Discuss which sample curricula have been selected for analysis and the initial analysis findings

- Address any other literacy curriculum selection questions brought by the group


February 23 Network Agenda:

- Present in-depth analysis findings of sample curricula

- Discuss literacy team next steps (e.g., will the literacy team be conducting observations of sample curricula/programs; how will the literacy team present their analysis findings, etc. )


March 16 Network Agenda:

-Meet with district administrators/teachers already implementing the top sample curricula to discuss implementation experiences and ask questions

-Discuss district implementation plans to de-select materials and plan for professional development

CANCELLATION POLICY:
EVENTS REQUIRING A REGISTRATION FEE:  We must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] at least two weeks prior to the event date for a full refund. If you do not cancel or are a no-show, you/your district will be invoiced the full event fee.

EVENTS WITH NO REGISTRATION FEE:   We must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to the event.  If you do not cancel or are a no-show, you/your district will be invoiced a $25 registration fee since our presenters prepare their presentation and may charge an event/planning fee.

In the case of an emergency or situations out of the ordinary, registrations are transferable to another colleague.
