Join teachers from around the region to learn, share, and network on hot topics in your classroom around literacy.
We will be reading and discussing the article: Struggle Is Not a Bad Word: Misconceptions and Recommendations About Readers Struggling With Difficult Texts
This article is geared toward adolescent learners, but we will be discussing how you can implement these strategies with any grade level, including our youngest learners!
*We will provide you time to read the article during the meeting, but please use the link above if you would like to read at your own pace before the meeting.
Be ready to discuss:
- Powerful takeaways
- Shifts that can be made in your own practice
- Anticipated challenges and solutions
Finally, we have been looking to grow this network, so if you have any colleagues that would be interested in being part of this conversation, please have them register!
