August 13, 2024 -  Dyslexia Simulation and Debunking Myths of Dyslexia
A dyslexia simulation event is designed to offer participants an immersive experience into the challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia, a learning disorder that affects reading, writing, and spelling abilities. Then we will spend time "Debunking Myths of Dyslexia" to dispel misconceptions and raise awareness about students with dyslexia or displaying dyslexic tendencies.

August 15, 2024 - Science of Reading Overview, Strategies to Support Word Recognition and Language Comprehension Instruction
The Science of Reading Overview offers participants an understanding of the evidence-based research and methodologies underlying effective reading instruction including strategies to support word recognition and language comprehension.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
EVENTS REQUIRING A REGISTRATION FEE:  We must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] at least 24-hours prior to the event date for a full refund. If you do not cancel or are a no-show, you/your district will be charged/invoiced the full event fee.

EVENTS WITH NO REGISTRATION FEE:   We must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] at least 24-hours  prior to the event.  If you do not cancel or are a no-show, you/your district will be invoiced a $25 registration fee since our presenters prepare their presentation and may charge an event/planning fee.

In the case of an emergency or situations out of the ordinary, registrations are transferable to another colleague.
