AIM Pathways to Proficient Reading

Registration Details:
This course is designed for educators who are committed to learning about the connection between reading research, theoretical models such as the Simple View of Reading and Scarborough's Reading Rope, as well as best practices for language and literacy instruction in the classroom. 

Participants will learn effective instructional practices that will benefit all students, including those with or at risk for language-based learning disabilities.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Course time:  approximately 55 hours
  • 1 informational meeting
  • 6 virtual training sessions (90 minutes each)
  • 3 Ashland Graduate Credits (additional cost of $585)

  • Complete Pathways to Proficient Reading OR LETRS Units 1-8
  • Pathways to Structured Literacy (coming soon at the ESC)
  • Pathways to Structured Literacy Practicum (offered through AIM Institute)
  • Certification Exam (KPEERI)

EVENTS REQUIRING A REGISTRATION FEE:  We must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] at least 24-hours prior to the event date for a full refund. If you do not cancel or are a no-show, you/your district will be charged/invoiced the full event fee.

EVENTS WITH NO REGISTRATION FEE:   We must receive your cancellation in writing by emailing [email protected] at least 24-hours  prior to the event.  If you do not cancel or are a no-show, you/your district will be invoiced a $25 registration fee since our presenters prepare their presentation and may charge an event/planning fee.
