Working in the middle grades requires a special set of skills: extraordinary patience, flexibility, compassion, tolerance and much more. It also requires access to extraordinary resources and research to reach every student, grow professionally, and create great schools. AMLE, the Association for Middle Level Education (formerly the National Middle School Association), is the leading national and international organization advancing the education of all students ages 10 to 15, helping them succeed as learners and make positive contributions to their communities and to the world. AMLE is dedicated to improving the educational experiences of all students in the middle grades by providing vision, knowledge, and resources to educators and leaders who serve them.
On June 8th ESCLC is hosting a face to face opportunity with Dr. Dru Tomlin. You’ll hear what schools and teachers will gain from being members of the Association for Middle Level Education—and also learn about AMLE2015, the annual conference for middle level education coming to Columbus, Ohio this October 15-17!
There will also be sometime following to network with each other and discuss your needs heading into the 2015-2016 school year.
