The Gifted Advisory Council explores the development and implementation of state policies that affect identification, instruction, professional supports, leadership and funding for gifted education.
The morning session will provide updated information regarding The Gifted Advisory Council (pertaining to Talent Development), as well as an understanding of identifying and serving underrepresented populations.
The second session will feature Jennifer Detmar, Gifted Intervention Specialist, leading a teacher work session.
