Gifted Consortium district members only.

ESC Gifted Supervisors assist educators, psychologists, administrators, and parents on a case-by-case basis to determine if academic acceleration is the best approach for student learning. They collaborate with district personnel throughout the entire process, from assessments to meetings to the development of Written Acceleration Plans (WAPs), which include transition plans.

About Acceleration

The State Board of Education adopted a model acceleration policy for advanced learners at its April 2006 meeting. Every school district in the state of Ohio has a board-approved acceleration policy.
